Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and the Ukrainian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Mrs. Natalia Zadorozhnyuk, signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the travel conditions for the nationals of the two countries.

The Agreement regulates the rules and manner of establishing and maintaining a visa-free regime between North Macedonia and Ukraine (without any documents as an entry requirement) and allows the nationals of the two countries who possess a biometric travel document, to enter, transit and stay short-term from 90 to 180 days without visa.

This Agreement is expected to make a specific contribution to the further intensification of the overall cooperation, especially in terms of the economy, by facilitating the business ties and contacts between the two countries and by developing the tourism.

During the meeting that followed the signing of the Agreement, interlocutors confirmed the traditionally good relations between North Macedonia and Ukraine and also discussed current issues of common interest.
