On 19 February 2016 an informative economic workshop dedicated to the Republic of Macedonia was held in Paris at Business France – the agency for the promotion of French businesses within the country and abroad.

 

The Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan announces that the KIMEP University in Almaty, R. Kazakhstan will award candidates from the Republic of Macedonia with 10 full scholarships (5 scholarships for undergraduate (regular) studies and 5 scholarships for post-graduate studies) for the academic year 2016/2017.

On 12 January, the eight anniversary of the Army helicopter crash, during which 11 members of the Air Force Brigade lost their lives was marked by giving respect to the fallen soldiers at Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. On this occassion, wreaths of fresh flowers were laid by a representative of the Macedonian Embassy, A. Krstevski, EUFOR’s commander in BiH, Major General J., Luif, Major at the Army of RM, I., Nikchevski, representatives of the U.S. Army and a representative of the Association of Macedonian Citizens in Sarajevo.

Today in Mostar, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Dragana Kiprijanovska participated at the meeting of the Partnership Commission of the Member States of the Partnership Charter among Macedonia, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States, under the Bosnian presidency of the Charter.

 

This year, the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Zagreb once again took part in the traditional Christmas Bazaar in Zagreb. The charity event was held at the Zagreb Fair on December 6, 2015, organized by the International Women's Club Zagreb, and was officially opened by the Mayor of the city of Zagreb, Milan Bandić.

On December 6, 2015 the 8th Christmas charity bazaar, organized by the ASP – Ambassadors' Spouses Association took place at the Radisson Hotel in Astana.

 

On December 5, 2015, the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Sarajevo attended the 9th Diplomatic Charity Bazaar organized by the Ambassadors' Spouses Association, which took place in the Mirza Delibašić Hall of the Skenderija Sports Complex.

 

The event Days of Macedonian Culture was held on 4 and 5 of December 2015 in Bialystok, Poland. The event was opened by the Director of the Opera and Philharmonic in Bialystok Mr. Damian Tanajewski who had welcomed everyone. Welcome address had also the Member of the Board at the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Mr. Stefan Stefan Krajewski and Charge d’Affaires of the Macedonian Embassy Mrs. Gorica Atanasova – Gjorevska.

On December 2nd, 2015, at the initiative of the Macedonian ambassador in Astana, Ilija Psaltirov, and organized by the Macedonian Embassy, the Kazguu University, the Scientific Production Center of Blood Transfusion and Scientific Center for Blood Transfusion and the Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps at the MFA of RK, the first blood drive took place at the Kazguu University in Astana, on the occasion of the fight against HIV and the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan .

On December 1, 2015 at the United Nations University in Tokyo, the Macedonian Ambassador in Tokyo, Adriana Cvetkovic PhD, gave a lecture entitled “Ambassadors of the future – public diplomacy as a tool for global change”.
