По повод турнејата на Македонската филхармонија во Кралството Шпанија и одржаните два концерти во градовите Сарагоса и Хуеска, во Мадрид, во организација на Амбасадата на Република Македонија, беше одржан свечен коктел во чест на македонските музичари.


На 12 септември 2018 година новоименуваниот амбасадор на Република Македонија во Полска Васил Пановски на свечена церемонија му ги предаде акредитивните писма на Претседателот на Република Полска Анджеј Дуда.


Вчера, новоименуваниот амбасадор на РМ во Норвешка, Серџим Мухамед, во Кралската палата во Осло имаше аудиенција кај Н.В. Кралот Харалд V, на која ги предаде акредитивните писма од Претседателот на РМ, Ѓорге Иванов, за неговото назначување за вонреден и ополномоштен амбасадор на Македонија во Норвешка со седиште во Осло.


Newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Aleksandra Miovska, presented copies of credentials to the Director of Protocol and Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps at the Foreign Office, Neil Holland.


Today, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to Montenegro, Mihajlo Trpkoski, presented his credentials to the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, at an official ceremony held in Cetinje.


On 31 August 2018, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia to the French Republic, Jadranka Chaushevska Dimov, presented credentials to President Emmanuel Macron, at an official ceremony held in the Élysée Palace in Paris.


On 20 May at the Ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Poland was marked with the authentic music project "Makedonissimo" of Simon Trpcheski and friends (Aleksandar Krapovski on violin, Aleksandar Somov on cello, Hidan Mamudov on clarinet/saxophone, Vlatko Nushev, percussionist and clarinetist Risto Gjorevski, who are on their Polish tour). The audience in the packed hall enjoyed the sounds of Macedonian music in the arrangement of our composer Pande Shahov. The concert, which is also a part of the programme marking the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, sparked a lot of attention, and the musicians were rewarded with standing ovations.

On 26 February on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the plane crash that claimed the lived of former President of RM, Boris Trajkovski and members of his delegation, a homage-paying ceremony was held at Matica Brda in Rotmile, municipality of Stolac near Mostar.


On 28 November a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation was signed between the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius and Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.


At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Tokyo, and in cooperation with the Memorial House of Mother Teresa, the exhibition "Mother Teresa – Saint from Skopje, Saint of the World", running from 27 November to 8 December, is displayed in Sophia University in Tokyo. In addition to presenting the life and work of Mother Teresa, the exhibition also aims to show the strong bond between Mother Teresa and Japan, supported by the fact that numerous Japanese artists have dedicated part of their work to her life and mission. The exhibition is hosted at Sophia University, where Mother Teresa also lectured on three occasions, in 1981, 1982, and 1984.
