Today Deputy Foreign Minister of Republic of Macedonia, Dragana Kiprijanovska, received the credential letters of the newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Macedonia, resident in Ankara, H.E. Mr. Tharit Charungvat.

 

On 25th July 2014 the Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini paid one-day visit to Republic of Macedonia. She met her host, the Foreign Minister of Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, before going to the planned meetings with the President of Republic of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov, President of Government, Nikola Gruevski and Deputy Prime Minister for Euro-Integrations, Fatmir Besimi.

 

Today Foreign Minister of Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki received the credential letters of the newly-appointed Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Macedonia resident in Sofia, Archbishop Anselmo Guido Pecorari.
 

During his stay in Brussels Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki met Alojz Peterle (EPP, Slovenia), member of the European Parliament and new chair of EU-Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee.

 

Today on the occasion of opening of the Hungarian National Trade House in Skopje Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Poposki addressed the present.

 

Today MFA of Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki hosted farewell meeting for Gudrun Elisabeth Steinacker Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of German Federal Republic to Republic of Macedonia.

 

Today Deputy MFA of Republic of Macedonia Dragana Kiprijanovska met the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Siyarto. Mr. Siyarto is visiting Republic of Macedonia due to the official opening of the Hungarian National Trade House in Skopje.

 

Today Foreign Minister of Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, sent letters of honest and deep condolences to his colleagues from the countries of the victims involved in the crash of Malaysia Airlines plane that occurred on 17th July 2014.

 

Due to the deteriorated security condition, rocket attacks from Gaza Strip towards parts of Israel and the on-going mission of the Israeli army, the citizens of Macedonia are advised against travelling to the areas nearing 50 km from the Gaza Strip.

 

On 16 July, an International donors' conference to deal with the consequences of the catastrophic floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia was held in Brussels and was attended by the Ambassador Andrej Lepavcov.
