The World in Macedonia

The International Organization of La Francophonie and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia organized the fifth annual meeting of the national coordinators for La Francophonie from six CEE countries: Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova and Romania held on 23 and 24 March in Skopje.

Today, the Diplomatic Academy in cooperation with representatives of all directorates at the Ministry organized a presentation at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aimed towards exchanging experiences and sharing information of mutual benefit in front of a group of young American diplomatic and interns from the US Embassy in Skopje.

On 25 May 2016, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dragana Kiprijanovska participated in the opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Ohrid, the Republic of Macedonia.

 

Between 13 and 16 May 2016, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Ankara thirteen representatives of the Central Anatolia Young Businessmen’s Association Federation (ICGIAF) visited the Republic of Macedonia, in order to hold numerous working meetings with multiple institutions.

On 18 March, 2016 an official inauguration ceremony of the Skopje-based Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Macedonia took place as affirmation of the progress achieved in promoting the overall relations between the two countries.

 

Today, an official event was held at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Art to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macedonian-Chinese Association for Friendship and Cooperation, where the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Dragana Kiprijanovska delivered her address.

 

Today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Dragana Kiprijanovska held a meeting with the Special Envoy of Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs for Relations with the Jewish Diaspora, Dr. Sebastian Rejak.

 

Bicycle tourism in Macedonia is gaining momentum this year – cycling through urban – rural surroundings, touring the natural riches that abound in our country – as confirmed by the article published in New York Times.

 

On 11 July 2015 the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia was opened in the Republic of Macedonia, seated in Ohrid, as confirmation of the long-running constructive cooperation and sincere friendship between the two countries.

 

Today, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Macedonia, stationed in Sofia, H.E. Mr. Lkhamsuren Dugerjav, officially opened the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in the Republic of Macedonia.
