The Directorate for Support of Activities of the Minister, Deputy Minister and of the State Secretary prepares annual work plans and reports; plans, organises, coordinates and follows the activities of the Minister, the Deputy Minister and of the State Secretary; organises and coordinates the communication with the media and at meetings with representatives of media outlets and via social networks; conducts analytical research and strategic planning; provides coordination and cooperates with relevant institutions and state administration bodies in the country; provides guidelines and instructions for diplomatic missions and consular posts and follows their work; cooperates with accredited diplomatic missions and consular posts in the Republic of North Macedonia; manages and organises the work of Sectors and Units, which are part of this Directorate; and performs other tasks within its scope of competences.
1.1 Sector for Organisation and Coordination of Activities of the Minister, Deputy Minister and of the State Secretary
The Sector for Organisation and Coordination of Activities of the Minister, the Deputy Minister, and of the State Secretary prepares annual work plans and reports; carries out and coordinate tasks related to the organisation of activities of the Minister, the Deputy Minister, and the State Secretary, and provides professional, technical, and administrative support for their implementation; makes preparations for the participation of the Minister, the Deputy Minister, and of the State Secretary in sessions of the Government, of the Assembly, and of their working bodies; conducts media communication and organises meetings with media outlet representatives; drafts, edits, updates, and publishes content on the websites of the Ministry and of diplomatic missions and consular posts, as well as on social media profiles of the Ministry; ensures coordination and cooperates with relevant national institutions and state administration bodies in the country; provides operational and technical-logistical support for the political and economy related activities of the Minister; prepares guidelines and instructions for diplomatic missions and consular posts and follows their work; cooperates with accredited diplomatic missions and consular posts in the Republic of North Macedonia; organises and evaluates the work of Units, which are part of this Sector; and performs other tasks within its scope of competences.

1.2 Sector for Public Relations and Digital Diplomacy
The Sector for Public Relations and Digital Diplomacy prepares annual work plans and reports; ensures accurate, clear, and timely public information about activities and positions of the Ministry on current bilateral, regional, and global issues in connection with international relations and the country’s foreign policy, using various channels of communication; coordinates the regular provision of information to the public regarding services that as a public service provider, the Ministry delivers to citizens; ensures continuous proactive and reactive communication with media outlets and the public; secures the uninterrupted implementation of the concept for the functioning and development of digital diplomacy; ensures the effective implementation of the concept of active transparency and accountability of the Ministry before citizens; coordinates the communication and cooperation with media outlets in relation to activities of the Minister and the Ministry as a whole; organises and moderates press conferences, media briefings, and other relevant media events; coordinates and manages the updating of the official website of the Ministry; organises and manages the functioning of official social media profiles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in line with new international trends in digital diplomacy; coordinates the preparation and publication of informational content on official social media profiles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; follows the operation of official social media profiles of diplomatic missions and consular posts of the Republic of North Macedonia abroad and provides recommendations and guidelines for necessary updates in line with international digital diplomacy trends; coordinates the finalisation of texts and the publication of press releases; organises and conducts information campaigns at the Ministry level; coordinates the technical support for the organisation of media activities and the production of photographs and video materials; organises and evaluates the work of Units, which are part of this Sector; and performs other tasks within its scope of competences.
